SeaCat Manual 17.07

Welcome to the SeaCat Manual!

SeaCat is a high performance networking technology for mobile apps, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and other connected products or distributed applications.

SeaCat handles large amount of connected endpoints

SeaCat is optimized for high volumes of connected endpoints (mobile Applications, IoT devices, etc.). It handles easily over 50,000 active Client Connections per SeaCat Gateway instance and scales easily to millions via its clustering capability.

SeaCat likes analytics

SeaCat is designed to be connected to a data analytic tools such as ElasticSearch or Hadoop to provide a great insight into fleet operations. That is important for a security, smooth operation and availability and also for a business intelligence.

SeaCat is highly secure

SeaCat provides strong protection against different types of cyber threats by securing all Application components, including Client Application, network path, and Application Backend servers. SeaCat offers functions for easy implementation of various Application security-related tasks such as Transport Layer Security (TLS), Application Backend servers protection, encrypted Application local storage, integration with secure enclaves or key stores, Application integrity verification, and more. It reduces an administrator’s workload with a PKI administration of distributed large-scale Mobile or IoT Applications.
